Fatally Flaky by Diane Mott Davidson

Goldy is dealing with the bride from you-know-where. Billie is constantly changing her plans and calling several times a day to complain. Goldy's catering business is doing well but she doesn't want to lose a client so she puts up with the flakiness. Then a friend of her godfather's gets murdered and Goldy can't keep out of the investigation even after her police officer husband asks her to leave it alone. Jack, Goldy's godfather, seems to think that the local spa is somehow at fault and does some investigating of his own. When he gets hurt then Goldy goes undercover, substituting as a chef at the spa.
Fatally Flaky is the 15th book in the Goldy Schulz series. The 1st is Catering to Nobody. The books start out with Goldy married to an abusive husband and chronicles her attempts to leave him and start her own catering business.
The book is relatively short and easy to read. There is a lot of discussion about food (made me hungry) and some recipes are included. I thought it was an okay book but didn't care as much about the characters as I would have liked.
There was some mild swearing, some mild violence, and hints of sex between Goldy and her husband Tom, just enough of all of that to make it PG-13.
