The Wolf at the Door by Jack Higgins

This is the latest in the author's long line of Sean Dillon books. Sean Dillon is part of an elite intelligence unit working out of London. He and his associates have been targeted lately by an unknown group, a group that seems to have ties to the IRA or Sinn Fein as it is sometimes known.
I read the last book in the series and found it too profane and violent to finish. This one wasn't quite as bad but the whole thing is confusing unless you have read the earlier books-all 16 of them. Since they do tend towards violence and profanity, it's not a series I could recommend. I don't plan on reading any more of them. Rated R for language and violence.
